Who's who at the UP Project
Deborah implements strategy and is responsible for achievement of targets,
manages budgets and resources, writes funding bids and implements fundraising to make the project sustainable, as well as supervising staff in order to help them fulfill their own job descriptions.
Community Engagement Manager
Jo manages the Up Project's High Street Hub in Elgin, including the tool library which we run from the hub, liaising with external agencies and engaging with visitors to raise awareness of climate change and carbon reduction. She also teaches our sewing classes.
Research and Development Manager
Paul handles the marketing and public relations side of the project, designing promotional and educational materials, organising initiatives and events, liaising with external agencies, writing reports, and other monitoring and evaluating activities to develop the sustainability of the project.
Wood Workshop Manager
Andy manages the wood workshop and develops and teaches the woodwork lessons for people to learn basic woodwork skills, as well as supervising and advising our woodwork drop in sessions, and maintaining high levels of health and safety within the workshop.
Suedevelops volunteering opportunities, role descriptions and volunteer policies based on the needs of the UP Project. She monitors, supports, and motivates our volunteers and arranges training opportunities where available.
